Committed to maximising Student Achievement at every level, the Thomas Deacon Academy opened in September 2007 as the largest of the schools created by the Government's Academy Programme. With 2200 students aged 11-18, the Academy serves Central and Eastern Peterborough whilst drawing students from across the city.

The excellent achievements of our students in the exams of Summer 2008 - and again in 2009 - are testament not only to their hard work, but also the efforts of staff and the benefits brought by our facilities and Academy status.
