Welcome
The Thomas Deacon Academy is the largest of the schools set up as part of the Government's Academies Programme. Sponsored by Perkins Engines and the Deacon's School Trust, the Academy opened in September 2007 with 2200 students aged 11-18. Specialising in Maths & Science, all areas benefit from the building and facilities designed by Foster & Partners.
The Academy is already establishing a reputation for responding innovatively to its mission to support all students achieving the very highest standards of achievement.
