We're looking for passionate and enthusiastic foster carers that want to make a difference to the lives of the children they work with. To find out more about fostering enquire today or attend one of our events.

We’re looking for foster carers that can provide a safe and caring family environment to a young person that needs it. We work closely with the local authority to identify the needs of the community and are particularly interested in people that would like to foster teenagers, sibling groups or children with disabilities.

To be a foster carer you will:

  • want to work with vulnerable young people,
  • have lots of time, commitment and energy,
  • have experience of working with or looking after children,
  • have a spare room available for fostering.

To find out more about fostering with St Christopher’ request a call from our team or call us on 0800 234 6282.

Supporting you every step of the way

St Christopher’s will be on hand to answer your fostering questions from the moment you enquire about fostering. Visit our application process page to gain a better understanding of the steps you will go through to be approved as a foster carer.

Once you are approved as a foster carer you will have access to an excellent regional training and support package that will equip you with the skills you need to foster.

What our foster carers say

“Ten years on, a grown up daughter, four grandchildren and 14 foster children later, I can honestly say I have found my vocation in life,”
Doreen, St Christopher’s foster carer
