Why this workshop? - Engaging for students - Broaden the aspirations and awareness of STEM careers - Workshop draws on developing interdisciplinary skills and develops valuable transferable skills employers / universities / sixth forms / colleges want students to have, for example: team working, communication, problem-solving, and resilience. - Develops scientific skills such as: Making predictions, observing, measuring and recording data, interpreting and communicating results and evaluating data. - Helps break the stereotype that engineering is all about large machinery and hard hats! Rewarding students for their commitment to their home learning in science in Yr 10, an opportunity to explore additional careers and boost curiosity for yr 12s.

2 workshops will run 1st workshop is for 30 yr 10s P1-3, 2nd workshop for up to 30 yr 12s studying Applied Science, Physics, Biology or Chemistry 13:00 - 15:00, students will need to be let out of their P4 lesson at 12:30 to get their lunch.
