Training School
The Thomas Deacon Academy has been a Training School since opening in September 2007.
Its Training School mission has developed since that time and its focus is on providing system leadership in: the development of new building and organisational structures, harnessing new technology and the teaching of its specialisms. Training School commitments centre around Continuous Professional Development for its staff, collaboration in training with other partners, the development of mentors and coaches in the Academy team, excellence in training and the provision of Initial Teacher Training places.
