Mathematics is situated right at the entrance of the Academy. Our custom-built suite of 12 classrooms all with the use of an interactive whiteboard as well as a mixture of 65 thin client machines and 30 laptops machines gives us the flexibility to deliver lessons using a wide variety of interactive resources. This enables to personalise our teaching according to ability as well as learning style.

Students embark on a varied 5 year programme with two years of key stage 3 followed by a three year GCSE programme where students can be completing a wide variety of courses chosen from:

• AQA mathematics
• Graduated Assessment
• IGCSE
• International O Level Statistics
• Adult Numeracy

We are one of the first schools in the country to offer a choice of A level mathematics and International Baccalaureate for our students to study in the sixth form. We have links with Oundle School, the Further Maths Centre, NRICH, NCETM and Leicester University.

Our excellent pastoral record and academic tutoring of students in the Maths college mean that no student is overlooked in such a vast and magnificent building. We offer each student a chance to have a relationship with a skilled tutor who can record their progress and offer support when required.
