Admissions
The arrangements for admitting children to the Thomas Deacon Academy reflect the Sponsors’ vision for the education of pupils of all abilities in our area of Peterborough.
The arrangements for admission to the Academy in August 2009 have been agreed with the DCSF.
YEAR 7
Although Thomas Deacon is a state funded, independent school, admission into Yr7 is through Peterborough City Council’s common admissions scheme.

The process for admission to the Academy in August 2009 began in September 2008 and is detailed in our Admissions Brochure. Open Evenings for entry into Year 7 in September 2009 took place on October 13th and October 15th, 2008.
