Parents Protect Day
Parents Protect Day!
Saturday 7th May
10.30am – 2.30pm
Thomas Deacon Academy
Queen’s Gardens
Peterborough
The Thomas Deacon Academy and the Stop it Now! child protection campaign are jointly hosting a Parents Protect! Day. It’s all about keeping YOUR children safe from harm and we’ve invited a range of safety organisations to come along and provide information and resources for families in the area.
On the day there will be information on:
• Fire safety
• Road safety
• Accident prevention
• Safety in the home
• Child protection
• Healthy eating
In addition, we will have a Fire Engine, Police vehicles and an Ambulance on site with staff from the emergency services on-hand to demonstrate how their vehicles work and allow youngsters to explore and learn. You will pick up lots of tips to keep your children safe and the ‘Big Safety Challenge’ is a quiz you can complete – with your children - as you go around the displays.
