Year 9 students completed their bronze training expedition in Rutland this weekend. The students braved the weather, which saw thunderstorms and the odd flash if lightening, to hike a total of 13km over the two days. In spite of the conditions, the group successfully set up camp and prepared their meals in a soggy field, all with a great big smile.
Well done to all seven groups for completing the training. Now it is time to start on your volunteering, physical and skill section before undertaking the qualifying expedition in 2018.
